Kathy is great! It is important to me to have a licensed/certified Electrolysis provider. She provides education at your first appointment, along with a sample session. She follows up with providing education on how to take care of your skin after. She works out of her home and creates a safe, clean, comfortable environment. She is responsive with answering questions or rescheduling. I like that her scheduling system sends out scheduling and reminder texts. I have been on a hair removal journey since the young age of 12 years old. Growing up, I was bullied for my dark, thick body hair on my arms, legs, and face. I sought laser hair removal and IPL laser treatments for years, which never worked well, despite my consistency in attending my appointments for years. I am so thankful to have found Kathy and her electrolysis services as of October 2022.
At my first appointment, I was informed on the process of electrolysis, how it works, and its effect on hair growth. She kindly educated me that electrolysis is the only FDA approved method of permanent hair removal, whereas laser is only hair reduction (which in my case, laser barely reduced my hair growth anyway.. it actually encouraged/stimulated more hair growth of my chin).
My main concern regarding my hair growth is on my chin, and I am already seeing so much improvement with reduction of hair growth in that area after working with Kathy for these past few months. Kathy is extremely knowledgeable in her career practicing electrolysis and always makes sure to provide a great service and aftercare. She works with me to make sure I am always comfortable and finds the best method of electrolysis that is compatible with how my skin and hairs react. I will continue to see Kathy until my chin hair is completely gone.
