Precare advice:

Hairs should be long enough for treatment. That means if you shave, stop three days before treatment.

You should be well hydrated. The current will be working with the water it finds in your hair follicles.

Come to your appointments with clean, recently exfoliated skin for best results.

You can moisturize on the day of treatments, but skip skin oils if you use them.

It is best to skip retinoids before and after treatments, They thin the skin and can make it more sensitive.

Aftercare advice:

Avoid touching, scratching or picking at the skin post treatment.

Use a cold pack to alleviate swelling, itching or the feeling of heat in the skin.

Wait to wash. Use witch haszel to wipe down the skin and follow with aloe vera.

A compress of epsom salt and warm water can help if any putules develop. You can also use antibiotic cream to help.
